It was one of the limited time Retro products in the UK earlier in the fall. I got a 100g bottle of it and I’m worried I won’t be able to get it when I run out! I think I’d prefer a 500g bottle, but I’m open to offers of 100g bottles too! :)
I have a lot for swap. I want most of these things, but have duplicates and want to cut down on my hoarding. I’ve included information/pictures about each of the products below. Here’s my swap list:
- 1 Cobweb bath bomb (discontinued, purchased in October 2011)
- 1 World Peace bath bomb (discontinued, purchased in October 2011)
- 1 Humango bath bomb (discontinued, purchased in October 2011)
- about 75g (3/4 of a 3.3oz bottle) of Dirty Springwash shower gel (expires June 13, 2012)
- about 400g (4/5 of a 16.9oz bottle) of Slammer shower gel (expires March 11, 2012)
- 1 Bare Naked Lady dusting powder [opened and sniffed, sprinked less than 1/2 teaspoon on my arm and never used again] (Retro, expires Nov. 22, 2012)
- 100g/3.5 oz. Candy Cane soap (discontinued, holiday 2011)
- 100g/3.5 oz. Angel’s Delight soap (discontinued, holiday 2011)
- 100g/3.5 oz. Lily Savon soap (Retro)
Not sure what all of those are? Here’s a small description and a picture! :)
Cobweb bath bomb was a Halloween product from a few years back that was available for sale in the October 2011 NA chat party. It has the signature “Black Pearl” scent which is a lavender, chamomile, blackcurrant, olibanum, and myrrh scent. Definitely a cult favorite.
World Peace bath bomb features a pine, peppermint, and cypress scent with a hint of grapefruit. It hasn’t been in stores in a long time (discontinued in 2003), but eventually had become a Retro product online in NA only and was available until just recently. It’s out of stock on the website and was on the discontinuation list, so chances are it won’t be back in stock. It’s a 6.3 oz. bath bomb (the size of an Avobath).
If you’re a huge fan of Avobath (really, who isn’t?) this next one might interest you! Humango is bath bomb scented like Avobath, but is a 24.6 oz. bath bomb! That’s almost four times the size of a normal Avobath! Not only is it basically a gigantic Avobath, it gets better — it’s FULL of chunks of You’ve Been Mangoed bath melt! Both scents are very citrusy… lemongrass! It literally hurts me in my side to put this up for swap (this is my legit FAVORITE discontinued bath product!), but I bought 3 of these in October at the NA chat party and although I would EVENTUALLY get through all 3, my hoarding issues would prevent me from using them up before they’d start to lose their scent/fizz/fun. You can either use this whole thing in one bath or break it up and use bits at a time. I’d like it to go to a good home. :) [the picture shows Humango on the left, and compares its size to a normal bath bomb.]
Dirty Springwash shower gel is part of the Dirty line of products currently available in stores. The entire line was created for men, but the crisp spearmint scent is definitely unisex friendly. I had this in my shower for a bit, but my boyfriend swapped it out for Freeze and I forgot that we still had this bottle when I recently purchased a larger one. Oh well. Picture shown below is of the actual bottle… the level of the shower gel goes to just above the top of the “made by” sticker. Again, about 3/4 of a 100g/3.3oz bottle.
Slammer is literally my favorite shower gel out of any Lush shower gel that I’ve tried. If you’re a fan of citrus scents, you would go insane over this super zesty lime scented shower gel. It’s a Retro product, so it’s only available online. I’ve had this bottle since the spring of last year, and used it a TON. You literally need the tiniest drop of this stuff on a loofah to get the best lather ever. Back in September(ish) I bought a new bottle of Slammer shower gel from a local store’s birthday party even though I already had this one (because the newer one is red in color and a little bit thicker in consistency). I figured I’d save that one until I finished this, but I realized I would never finish it and I wanted to use the new one! (I know, good rational.) This bottle technically expires in March. I feel wrong straight up condoning using products after their expiration date, and there are many that you really shouldn’t do that with… some of them you could end up with bad reactions from if some of the fresh ingredients have gone bad. That being said, I’ve never had a bad reaction to using a shower gel past it’s date, and I know quite a few people in real life who are still working on lush shower gel bottles from YEARS ago. If I didn’t have the other bottle, I’d continue using this until it was gone (which would probably be years from now because so little goes such a long way!). Picture shown is of the actual bottle. There’s about 4/5 of a 500g/16.9oz bottle left, if not a little more than that.
The last three products on my swap list are soaps.
Candy Cane smells like a legit candy cane.
Angel’s Delight is a fruity/candy mix. Some have described it as like fruit punch. I see where they’re coming from, but it’s more of a complex scent than just plain fruit punch.
Lily Savon smells like lilies. It’s the same scent as the Ghost shower gel, which you might have smelt most recently during this last Halloween. It’s a very creamy soap. I love it, but I have too much soap and I have three pieces of this. :/
If you see something on this list that you’re interested in, let me know! I’m really hoping to get some Narcotik. If you don’t have Narcotik shower gel, you can definitely still approach me for a swap if you have some other things I might be interested in.
Let’s talk swap! For swaps I prefer email communication over ask box. My email is: firstname.lastname@example.org.
