Happy Wednesday Lushies! You’ve successfully made it halfway through the school/work week. Use a bubble bar to celebrate! :)
I FINALLY got to go to Lush tonight! I went out to dinner with a family friend who is also a Lushie and got to smell all of the Easter products! I haven’t been in a Lush store since March 17th (I KNOW. I really don’t understand how that happened.) so I picked up a couple of things I’ve been wanting to try, but saved a few things for my trip to the Harvard Square Lush tomorrow. It was a pretty successful night!

As you can see, I got a Hippy Chick (love it!), a Hottie massage bar, R&B, and a $2 tin of Ultrabalm.
My boyfriend has been on me about getting a Hottie massage bar like, since it came out. He has fibromyalgia (very uncommon at his young age) and is in a lot of pain. Because Hottie has black pepper oil in it, it’s supposed to be very calming for his aching muscles. He’s not a huge Lushie like I am, so I was excited that he wanted this massage bar until I realized it didn’t fit in my lovely massage bar tin. The sales associate came up with the solution to cut off a row at the end though, and use that first, and then store the rest in the square shaped body butter tin. Genius!
I FINALLY got R&B! I always hear people raving about it, so I finally took the plunge. I’ve only been using Lush haircare for about 2 months, so I’m excited to add this to my solid shampoo and conditioner routine.
Last but not least, I got a $2 tin of Ultrabalm. I’ve never purchased it before, but I’ve always been intrigued and if you bring the small tin back to the store, you get a discount on the larger size. :)
The Candy Fluff Egg wasn’t really my thing, but I was pretty sure it wouldn’t be since I’m not the biggest fan of the candy scents. I didn’t think I would like the smell of Donkey Oaty, but I actually really do! It’s strange, especially since I really (unfortunately) dislike the smell of Charity Pot. I’ll probably grab one tomorrow. I also basically completely forgot about Jackie Oates when I was in there tonight because I was so excited, so I definitely want to check that out in Harvard tomorrow.
I’m going to go poke around Facebook and listen to the new Death Cab for Cutie song. Look at the post I reblogged below this and go follow livingthelushlife! You won’t regret it! :)
